I love you more today than I did the day I married you.

It’s crazy to think our story started in a bar. You bought me a Long Island Iced Tea, asked for my number, and I thought I gave you the wrong one but about 10 minutes after you walked out, my phone buzzed with your text… and I realized I had definitely messed up. 😂 I guess it was meant to be.

A few days later, we had our first date at Shogun’s, and the next morning you surprised me with flowers. 💐 We went on one more date, then somehow we stopped dating and just became friends. Even though you asked me to be your girlfriend more than once, my answer was always no.

We were both fresh out of long relationships and honestly just enjoying life. We were there for each other through everything, but we were definitely in our party era. Somewhere along the way, our friendship became the foundation for something so much bigger.

A year and a half later, you finally wore me down, and I said yes to being your girlfriend. If I’m being honest, I didn’t think we’d last. I was convinced you’d eventually do something to screw it up, you were a pl***oy & a bad boy. 😂

I’ve never been happier to be wrong.

You became my best friend, my safe place, and the love of my life. You’re the person I have the most fun with, the one who keeps me grounded, and the one I can always count on. Watching you be a father has made me fall in love with you even more. Our boys are so lucky to call you Dad.

I truly believe our marriage is so strong because we were friends first. We’ve seen each other through every season of life, celebrated the highs, survived the lows, and somehow continue to choose each other every single day.
