Jeep’s “All in on America” campaign still has life, because Team USA has not been eliminated from the World Cup and plays Belgium tonight.
The promotion is one of the strangest and funniest we’ve seen from an automaker: if the United States wins the whole tournament, Jeep says it will give up to 100 new 2026 Wranglers to U.S. residents legally named George Washington. Not impersonators, not reenactors, but actual George Washingtons. The first 100 verified registrants are eligible if America pulls off the unlikely run. The campaign also features comedian Iliza Shlesinger as Jeep’s “Chief Soccer Officer,” leaning fully into the patriotic absurdity. The odds may be long, but somewhere in America, a few George Washingtons are probably watching tonight’s match a little more closely than usual and thinking about what color Wrangler they would pick...
