Memorial Day has always meant honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. But this year feels different. This year, it feels deeply personal.
Having a son serving in the US Navy has given me a whole new understanding of the sacrifice, courage, and commitment our military families carry every single day. It’s impossible not to think about the parents, spouses, children, and loved ones of those who never made it home. Today, my heart is full of gratitude, pride, and reflection. We enjoy our freedom because of heroes willing to serve something bigger than themselves. And while I couldn’t be more proud of my son, I also hold close the reality of what so many families have given for this country. Freedom isn’t free 🪖🎖️

Running a small business is already stressful enough, I’m not about to add “worrying who’s watching me fail” to the list.
And let’s be real…it’s kind of lame how there’s this whole “women supporting women” narrative, yet some of those same people can’t even hit like or follow. But here’s the thing…I’m doing it anyways. Because growth isn’t always cute. It’s uncomfortable, messy, and sometimes a little embarrassing. And if I’m the only one laughing at my content…perfect! At least someone gets my sense of humor…and she pays my bills 💸🤑
