📢 COMMUNITY UPDATE : LOS ANGELES DATE CHANGE 📢

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting our Community Day outreach efforts with Save The Need Foundation. We wanted to let our community know that the Los Angeles outreach dates have been updated to JULY 11TH & 12TH.

Everything else remains on schedule, and all other city dates will continue as planned. This update only affects the Los Angeles distribution week.

As we continue our Community Survey Outreach, we’re excited to connect directly with families and individuals in need while distributing hygiene kits, snack bags, and essential resources throughout our communities.

This will be one of our final outreach distributions for this community survey initiative, and we’re grateful for every volunteer, supporter, and community member who has helped make this movement possible.

Save The Need Foundation is calling on volunteers, families, and local leaders to come together for our upcoming Community Day outreach series. We’ll be out in multiple cities over the next several weeks, providing hygiene kits and snack bags to individuals facing hardship and most importantly, listening.

This time, we’re doing more than just giving we’re learning. Through a short community survey, we’re creating space for people to share what they truly need and what changes they want to see. Every response helps us build better programs and stronger solutions for the future.

📍 Important Note: Volunteers should be prepared to travel to different outreach locations. Exact meet-up points will be shared the week of each event. T-shirts and vests will be provided.

Community Message from Save The Need Foundation

To our community,

For many years, Save The Need Foundation has been on the ground across Southern California, serving individuals and families through distribution efforts in multiple counties. While those efforts came from a place of care and urgency, we took a step back to reflect. We recognized that simply distributing goods without a long-term solution was not creating the meaningful change our communities truly need. In some cases, it unintentionally contributed to ongoing challenges rather than solving them. Because of that, we made the difficult but necessary decision to pivot.

Our mission has always been rooted in one core goal: housing and long-term stability. However, like many grassroots organizations, limited funding has made it difficult to secure property and build a structured program that ensures lasting success and positive outcomes.

Now, we’re ready to move forward again but this time, with purpose, clarity, and a stronger vision.

We are preparing to relaunch our community distributions and fundraising events, and we want to do it with you, not just for you.

Transparency and integrity remain at the heart of everything we do. Every donation we receive goes directly back into the community. We operate under a strict volunteer-based model none of our donations are used for personal gain by founders or staff. We are here to serve, not to benefit ourselves.

We also want you to know this: we have a plan one that we truly believe can make a real impact on the crisis facing California. But we cannot do it alone. We need the community to stand with us, to help amplify this vision, and to be the voice that pushes it forward. We’ve tried to present it before and weren’t heard but together, that can change.

This is more than an idea.
