It’s been a while since I’ve done a little intro so allow me to introduce myself... I’m Tierney, a mom of two firey redhead girls, wife, and pediatric nurse, who grew up in southwestern North Dakota. I love facials, any type of dessert, and traveling. I dislike winter very very much.
I used to own a different small shop sewing children’s clothing. However with the change in the economy and rising prices made it extremely difficult to continue. I once did a wood burning event and absolutely loved it. I saw either a picture or video of someone burning a hat. I bought a few cheap hats and taught myself how to burn designs into hats. Insert the beginning of Prairie Ember! Hat bars have become very popular, but I haven’t seen one that also offers detailed burned designs. Now you can book hat bar parties with me!
I have met some of the greatest people thanks to being a small business owner. I love how this brings my girls and me closer. You can often find them hanging out with me while I create hats. I want them to grow up with empowerment and drive to do the things their hearts call them to do.
