It is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of nine people associated with water/wastewater systems within the state. Illinois Rural Water Association was formed to coordinate water and wastewater system programs on a statewide basis. The Association provides training and technical assistance to water and wastewater systems. Illinois Rural Water Association along with forty-nine other State Associations, form what is known as the National Rural Water Association.

Remember: CCRs are due to your customers prior to July 1st, and you must submit the completed CCR certification form, copy of the CCR, and water bill with URL, if applicable, to the IEPA by July 10th.

We will accept CCR's to be hosted on our website until June 26, 2026. E-mail Mary Reed: [email protected] to begin the process. You may still send her your CCR for review even if you do not want us to host it - just tell her in the e-mail. She is available M-Th until 1:00 p.m.
