Effvision is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team! If you have a passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and user-friendly documentation, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Technical Writer, you’ll play a key role in crafting high-quality documentation, including user manuals, API guides, FAQs, white papers, and knowledge base articles. You’ll collaborate with developers, engineers, and product managers to ensure our content is accurate, informative, and accessible.

What You’ll Do

✅ Research, write, and maintain technical documentation for diverse audiences

✅ Work closely with technical teams to ensure content accuracy

✅ Simplify complex technical concepts for end-users and business stakeholders

✅ Develop structured content aligned with documentation best practices

✅ Edit, proofread, and enhance existing content for clarity and usability

✅ Create visuals, diagrams, and screenshots to supplement documentation

✅ Maintain documentation repositories using tools like Confluence and Git

✅ Conduct user research and usability testing to refine content strategy

What We’re Looking For

🔹 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field

🔹 Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical writing (preferably in IT, software, or engineering)

🔹 Writing Skills: Strong ability to create concise, engaging, and informative content

🔹 Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with APIs, cloud computing, and enterprise applications

🔹 Tools & Platforms: Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and visual documentation tools (Visio, Snagit, Adobe Illustrator)

🔹 Research & Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and simplify complex information

🔹 Location: Remote

🔹 Employment Type: Part-time
