When a couple who made $90,000 together, spent $100,000 EACH on divorce litigation, I decided that a practical guide on hiring the right divorce lawyer and on fees was needed. She was elected in the late 1980’s and was the youngest circuit judge and also the first woman to be elected circuit judge in Tampa, Florida. Here is a short list of some of the laws that went into effect on Jan 1st:

-There's a new law that's supposed to cut down on insurance fraud and lower your premiums.

-The law is a major overhaul of Florida's personal injury protection (PIP) law. One of the most important things to know is this:

-Under the new law, people who are hurt in a crash must get to a doctor within 14 days.







-Another new law makes it perfectly legal in Florida for drivers to flash their headlights to warn oncoming drivers of a speed trap if they see police or troopers on the side of the road trying to nab speeders.
