LEGACY.

This past weekend at the Straz Center, I realized something powerful…

I wasn’t watching a recital.

I was watching the ripple effect of 20 years of intentional leadership.

1,000+ families.
Lifelong friendships.
Children building confidence.
Former students now leaders and professionals in our community.

An entire downtown buzzing because one business consistently showed up with purpose and excellence for two decades.

That’s what great businesses do.

They become part of the fabric of a community.

One thing I admire deeply:
Not once in 20 years have I ever heard my wife Jennifer complain about the path she chose.

She genuinely loves:
• The mission
• The people
• The responsibility
• The impact

And because of that, the legacy became undeniable.

And this year made it even more meaningful.

Our son is now becoming part of that legacy too through the newly formed Waz Theatre.

That’s the powerful thing about building with purpose.

Your children don’t just watch it.

Eventually…
they become part of it.

They inherit:
➡️ Vision
➡️ Standards
➡️ Courage
➡️ Leadership
➡️ Belief systems

Not because you told them.

Because they lived around it.

As leaders, business owners, clinicians, parents, and humans…

We should all ask ourselves:

➡️ What continues because we existed?

Because eventually people won’t remember the schedules or stress.

They’ll remember how we made them feel and who they became because of the environments we created.

That’s legacy.

Behind every great clinician, leader, and caregiver… is someone who taught them how to care first. 💙

Today we celebrate the moms who show up with strength, patience, resilience, and unconditional support — both at home and in the clinic.

To all the mothers balancing careers, families, patients, businesses, and everything in between: we see you, and we appreciate you.
