Welcome to the Strength Floor 💪🏼

We have a fully decked-out floor dedicated solely to Strength Training. Our floor is designed to provide an open and welcoming space for 1-on-1 sessions, duets or trios, and small groups that want to lift together. This is a practice that is entirely SEPARATE from our Pilates Floor. You won’t find anyone putting heavy dumbbells on any Pilates apparatus in here. With Pilates + Strength being the combo of the moment, we strive to encourage safety and education. What does this mean? Respecting both practices and giving them their own moment to shine in their own space in a separate session.

Pilates is amazing and can be a GREAT step one in your fitness journey. But… would we ever advise or support replacing strength training with it? 99% of the time… heck no.

What would we recommend? ADD IT to your strength training routine! Strength training is a non-negotiable when it comes to our health, longevity, and quality of life.

And don’t misunderstand… we’re not knocking the benefits of Pilates. It’s simply a DIFFERENT modality that comes with its own laundry list of perks. What’s even better: strength training will IMPROVE your Pilates practice!

We know just the place where you can practice both 😉

Welcome to the Pilates Floor ✨

A full comprehensively-outfitted Pilates studio. In our space, we embrace the ENTIRE system that is the Pilates Method.

Fun fact: our studio was originally “emBRACE Pilates” and began solely as a tiny Pilates studio inside of a powerlifting gym. The Strength floor came 3 years later… and you’ll get to see that soon 😉
