I lowered the frequency of our universe yesterday. And I am bummed.
Driving down a 4 lane road, there was a guy in a truck following too closely behind. I politely got in the lane to our right and then casually flipped him off as he passed.
We met at the stop sign a few hundred feet away. As I pulled up behind him, he revved his hemi engine in my face and when I pulled up next to his window to give him a stink face, he flipped me off and yelled “f**k you!” Then drove off.
I was so pi**ed. “How dare he?!” I thought. “He was the one in the wrong! F**k this guy!”
😕
When we feel negative thoughts, we emit a low frequency out into the universe. When we act on them, it’s even worse.
There’s a good chance that this guy was just minding his own business, maybe distracted and had no intention of riding my ass. And then all the sudden I flip him off. So he’s thinking “TF. F**k this bitch”. I lowered his frequency. And then caused him to emit even lower frequency. And it rippled to a completely unnecessary encounter.
I could have just switched lanes and moved on with my day. Sure, the feeling of seeing a big truck so close to me gave me negative feelings so I was operating on a slightly lower frequency. But that s**t happens to us all the time! There’s nothing we can do about what happens to us OR our initial reaction to it.
What we can control is how we move forward from such outside stimulus. I totally could have ignored him and I, and the universe, would be better for it.
Hopefully when such a situation comes up again (like maybe someone gives me their negative opinion of me 😅), I’ll be able to handle it better after having learned from this experience. And hopefully it makes you think too. The little moments are what are really important 💕
