Devin Ray Kohn

20 years ago today, I was 13 years old, and performed my first show at a venue called The Fire in Philadelphia, PA. All the members ranging from 13-15, starting the band when we were 12-14, we were beyond stoked! It was wild, being underage we had to wait outside the entire time until our set, then immediately had to exit LOL later in the journey of that band we got fake IDs to ease that process 🤫

That experience catapulted our drive to write and perform, and, being so young, it became 100% of our lives; fully became our identities. Following that show, we stayed in a hotel with family and friends and had fun throwing our continental breakfast off the balcony lol (shout out to my parents for support with travel, finances, roadie work, etc.) This band was a hell of a journey for 3 years, and quite a learning experience for our craft, and life in general.
