As the Spring season starts, take some time to remember all of the work you have put in over the winter and that it doesn’t mean that it will all go perfect! Keep tuning up! Keep Working Hard! Hard Work Works!! There is no substitute for that!
Also, remember to be a good teammate! Remember there is room for everyone to succeed, and the better everyone you surround yourself with can play, the better you will be!

LinD1 Training is also going full speed into the season. I am continuing my hitting times. These will be sporadic until summer starts where I will have more flexibility as I am chasing my kids around and ensuring that my kids have a chance to build and live their dreams!

Upcoming this summer I will be hosting a 2-Day camp with Tracee McCoy in June and possibly in July or August, where we will be breaking down fundamentals and running players through full speed drills and competition. Times and place still TBD. Keep checking back for more information.

Hello everyone,

Hitting lessons each week have been going great! The athletes that I have had the pleasure of working with are starting to make great strides and becoming more confident. Hitting is a process and also takes time to develop a consistent powerful swing!
If you would like to bring your son or daughter to a lesson or even get their swing analyzed and tuned up let me know. I am adding a 3rd day of the week. I will be offering Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 4-8 PM at AB pitching academy 3333 Manchester Road right next door to Save-A-Lot. Each lesson is 60 minutes. Private lessons are $70 and sharing with one other student is $50.

Reminder - we are off this weekend for softball defensive clinics and will have our last classes of this session February 1st. This was already planned when the classes were scheduled and now we are finding that will work out nicely with the winter storm we are expecting this weekend. Stay safe and warm!

We’ll all be back on the field doing what we love before we know it, but now is the time to put in the work to prepare for that day!

It was great to get back to work at AB Pitching Academy with several softball players today as we kicked off our next defensive session! This session has three more weeks - 1/11, 1/18, and 2/1 - let us know if you’d like to join us for any of the remaining dates!

Hello Everyone!

I am going to offer another set of defensive classes this January. Times are busy, but getting ready for this upcoming season with extra defense and becoming more consistent and confident in fielding is greatly needed in our game. My first classes were amazing and the students did a great job!

The January class will be 4 weeks of footwork, throwing, and fielding ground balls consistently. This session will be more focused on the actual process of fielding and throwing (more reps off of a bat).

Week 1 - approach and going through the ball
Week 2 - slow rollers and throwing on the run
Week 3 - all backhands all day, positioning and charging, when to drop
Week 4 - double plays, cuts, tags on steals

Cost will be $100 for the entire series or $30 per week for drop ins.

Classes will be determined by the amount of sign ups. I will do my best to keep like ages and talent together. I am also looking to repeat this class one more time in February/March.

I am also going to start hitting lessons a couple times a week. I am going to limit this to the first 12-16 athletes (baseball or softball).
These will be $70 an hour, two students max a session. I will use video and create a full program for the hitter to follow to ensure each athlete is provided ample opportunity to improve if they follow the program.
