The Filthy Six are a soul jazz band based out of London, UK who became famous on the Acid Jazz record label for their high energy funk/jazz sound that is reminiscent of a 70s English gangster movie; think Michael Caine in 'Get Carter.' The band is lead by trumpeter Nick Etwell who has performed with Mumford and Sons, Foo Fighters, and Tom Jones, among others.
They are hitting the road for their US Tour and are playing a FREE show on Adams Street on Nov 17th. They will be joined by local blues legend Bill Wharton, The Sauce Boss.
