Still waiting on the words to come.. I’ll keep stitching until they find their way through..

It’s been.. a really difficult year. Constantly questioning direction, losing and finding hope in a never ending loop, becoming so physically and emotionally drained on this healing journey that sometimes I question if it’s even worth it…

But then I look here.. I see what I’ve made this year. I look at the stories I’m literally beginning to weave—holding desperately to truths until I believe them. And something.. stirs. The pilot light flickers.. but it doesn’t go out.

Days of weaving.. probably over a 100 hours of beading and sewing/embroidery?? Still have mounting and technical to go (and all the problem solving that comes with it 😅) with some surprises along the way!

I have poured… so much time, emotion, love, and labor into this project. It’s the beginning of a larger project I’m really excited to share with you all, in time.. If this is the only body of work I get to contribute to the world, even if it winds up just being on social media (jk your girl is gonna get a show, don’t worry) it’ll be worth it.
