Apex Engineering LLC had a fantastic time at their annual Team Habitat Build Day with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity where they helped clean up three of Habitat’s renovation properties in Spanaway. Apex worked in the front and backyards doing tasks that ranged from jack-hammering cement to planting beautiful landscaping. It was rewarding to see the property transform into something special that any homeowner would be proud to own. Apex has worked with Habitat for Humanity for several years in the office on projects such American Lake Townhomes and Madison Meadows and it is gratifying to see the projects come to life at Team Habitat Build Days such as these.

Apex took advantage of Tacoma’s beautiful weather and had a parking lot barbecue last Wednesday during lunch. We were fortunate to have our recently retired employee, Joe Blankenship make an appearance! Thank you Rory Eurom for being the grill master and Sarah Holt Munn for planning and setting everything up! It is always fun getting the engineering, surveying and planning staff together during the work day for some social time.
