The kickout (or lack of) is one of the most problematic areas for potential water damage. High volume roof runoff, if not properly diverted, will run against the siding all season long. Prolonged exposure can cause premature wear and water can run behind the siding, causing all sorts of headache. 🤕🛠🔨🪛🪚

🔍Check🔍 your home to make sure your kickout is present and functioning. If they're missing or damaged it's definitely worth it to have them repaired by a contractor with flashing experience.
