It is with a deep sense of gratitude that we share important news ahead of our 26/27 season: After a decade of leading Syracuse Stage as Artistic Director, Bob Hupp has announced his retirement. He will program the 27/28 season and step down from his current role next summer.

We are endlessly grateful for Bob’s commitment to Syracuse Stage and Central New York. Since 2016, he has been a tireless champion for the theatre and for our artisans and resident staff, and he will leave behind a legacy of artistic excellence and thoughtful leadership—both on stage and off. Join us as we thank Bob for a remarkable tenure and celebrate him during his final season beginning this fall.
