We are thrilled to announce George Saunders as the recipient of the 2025 Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters. The DCAL Medal will be presented to Saunders by Deborah Treisman, Fiction Editor at The New Yorker, at the 76th National Book Awards Ceremony & Benefit Dinner on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
