Northern Ready Mix, an American owned ready-mix concrete supplier based in North Syracuse, NY is seeking ready-mix drivers to join our growing company.

LOCATIONS:
North Syracuse *** currently offering $1000 sign on bonus ***
With a commitment to safety and quality, Northern Ready-Mix offers competitive pay starting at $20/hr and increases to $25/hr based on driver experience. Experienced ready-mix drivers are preferred, however Northern Ready-Mix has a veteran trainer willing to teach new mixer drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess Class B CDL or better
Must possess a safe driving record
Must maintain an active dot qualification
Must perform well in a team environment
Must be self motivated

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Timely to work
Proper attire required - long pants, steel toe boots, personal protective equipment
Daily truck inspections (i.e. fueling, tire light inspection, checking fluids, etc.)
Inform management if any issues with unit
When ready, spot and load truck
Proper wash down and rinsing
Follow directions on ticket to jobsite
Assess jobsite conditions
Provide appropriate written documentation on delivery tickets
Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, have release forms signed if deemed necessary - ex: blacktop, concrete, bad conditions
Treat customers with respect. They are our clients
Warn customers about overtime charges if pouring slowly
Warn customers that chute wash down must be performed on the pour sight property only
Do walk around of vehicle before backing out
Go directly back to plant
Plant manager will inform you when done at end of day
When done, rinse out drum completely until wash water is clear
Perform post trip vehicle inspection and inform garage if any issues
Keep units clean interior and exterior
Any issues with unit or jobsite should be reported to management in a timely manner
