MAJOR UPDATE: To start things off, I sincerely apologize for the lack of recent communication. My internet had been shut down for the last several weeks due to a water damaged utility box on a service pole that went unnoticed (thanks Spectrum). But now that my primary connection to the outside world has been restored, let's discuss once and for all where we're at. Skip to the end if you don't care.
For the longest, 1.54 had been absolutely kicking my ass. I really believed I wasn't gonna get the hang of this new cargo system or figure out it's depths. I've spent tireless days and weeks constantly importing and exporting the same model files over and over making slight adjustments hoping that THIS time was the time it would work properly, only to fail and begrudgingly have to start the process all over again. I was truly stuck, unsure what I was doing wrong despite the fact that I was copying the SCS system to a T and applying it to my own work. I was really stressing the hell out and pulling my hair over why this wasn't working. The struggle was beyond real. That mee, the community titled "DEF professor", the "SCS wizard", had somehow finally met their match. OR SO I THOUGHT. Ya wanna know what the problem was? This seemingly monumental issue that was breaking me mentally and making this such an impossible task for the last month+? π π©π’π₯ π’ π΄πͺπ―π¨ππ¦ π―π°π₯π¦ πΆπ±π΄πͺπ₯π¦ π₯π°πΈπ―. Yep. Turns out I had this system figured out by like, the second week of open beta. But this single overlooked node was flipped on the Y axis. And I never noticed because it's transformation settings was set to Quarternion (WXYZ) instead of the XYZ Euler setting that I normally use. All that drama, all that strife, all that hair loss, because a node I imported from another SCS trailer was oriented upside down. Everything I wanted to see was there the entire time, it was just underneath the floor. If I would've just dev cammed into the ground weeks ago, I would've realized much sooner what was actually going on. But alright alright, enough about me, here's what you're really after.
Your boy is back (for real) and now that I genuinely know what's going on, I can work on these updates significantly faster and get them out quicker. The first out of the oven is everyone's fan favorite classic, the Rackley. All of the amenities are still here. I overhauled the trailer and streamlined the selection process. The bodies are interchangeable without having the change the whole chassis. But due to accommodating the new cargo system, switching between deck and beam on the fly had been removed. However, I've been able to add both to be dynamic and adjust to cargo themselves. So now it's permanent that unloaded will show the bodies in with their "humps" and all loaded cargo will force them to flex flat. In terms of other new goodies, I finally added a small selection of wheels and tires. It's not much, so don't crucify me over it, but this is the first time I've ever created wheel and tire models. You can now have polished or grungy tires with the addition of steel, chrome, or painted wheels. Furthermore, the wheel spares have been separated into their addon accessory. You can now apply the tires and rims separately to match whatever your current setup has. The dual tone paint has also been tweaked to allow the applicable wheel accessories to be painted as well. All images included.
I'm currently in the process of getting this finalized so the first definitive 1.54 update will be going live in a few days. Work is still very busy and ramping up in the warmer months so I'll continually be in and out from time to time. I don't do dry van anymore and have picked up flatbedding with a conestoga delivering building materials. Despite this however, I'll still be dedicating whatever spare time I get to push these projects through. Thanks again for choosing NitroModz. I wouldn't say the trouble was worth the wait, but I very do appreciate y'all that still stick by me.

LONG READ, I've got some VERY bad news. I recently ran up the storage on my computer and decided I was gonna buy a higher storage capacity drive to accommodate all the files I was intending on keeping while increasing usable storage space for the foreseeable future. It was supposed to be a basic 3 step process of moving what I was keeping to an external drive, swapping the internal drives, and moving everything back. However I accidentally plugged in the wrong external drive and cancelled the storage transfer to use the correct one. But I guess I didn't do it the "right way" and closed out the tab itself while windows was still caching the files to move. And because of this, windows decided since I cancelled the move, I apparently didn't need the files AT ALL, and deleted them. Not return them to their source folder. Not place them in the recycle bin. Just straight up deleted.
Everything I have built over the last 7 years is just gone and I'm absolutely devastated about it, even the truck that's in this image no longer exists now. Data recovery isn't possible thanks to SSD TRIM. Restoring from a backup does not recover personal files. Some files did end up being saved thanks to .scs files being a non-native windows format, but only those were restored in the backup. However some of those files aren't even usable when the source truck/trailer they are designed for is deleted. So while the .scs archives remained, everything that was a .zip archive is gone, which unfortunately includes all the master copies of the mods I sell here that had all the updates on them that were slated for release over the next few weeks as well as future releases in their early alpha stages.
It honestly makes me feel sick looking in my folder now and seeing less than 15 archives when I originally had 120+ of custom content. It really does wanna make me call it quits now and just walk away, but that wouldn't be fair to those expecting so much more of me. I have to rebuild, but it sucks turbo ass that I have to do so from ground zero and that really kills my motivation to ever touch 3D modeling software again. For the time being I am closing down shop on this hiatus until I can get somewhere back up close to where I was before. I'll start from the beginning with the Trailking and work my way from there in the order each mod was released. I will not be making any more sales because I refuse to sell products that won't work. But if you want to donate small amounts, even $1 can go so far since I won't be able to release anything for an indefinite amount of time. The only thing I can genuinely ask for though, is patience while I work through this incredibly difficult time. Thank you.
There hasn't been a workbench update in a while. I'm not dead, au contraire it's actually been the exact opposite. I've been working on a super elite top secret project. So secret I might add, it doesn't even have a name. Something that I have never hinted or alluded to doing. It's something that I've never talked about either. When it's complete it will be free so no price tag whatsoever. The secrecy of this project is on a need to know basis, and that said only my bets testers will be aware of what this project is once it enters alpha testing. If you ARE a beta tester and wish to spoil yourself early, I can let you know what this project is. Otherwise you must contain yourself until the alpha is ready.

There was a small delay on the parcel trailers from the initially planned Sunday release because of an addon not working. I'm not sure if it has something to do with 1.48 or what but I cannot get the traffic addon to work after hashing it out for several days. Every time I tried to spawn a set (for those unaware, yes you can manually spawn traffic cars), I would get a parse error and told the trailer chain was invalid, which meant the trailers would never spawn naturally either. I won't delay it any further because the main mod is literally ready and I'm not sure how long it would take to fix the addon. So for now I'm simply choosing to leave it out and it will be simply added later on once it's working. This isn't the official sale post because I plan on doing that tomorrow after work (it's late now) and this post won't be shared with any of the public groups I'm active in. HOWEVER, if you are reading this and would like to purchase the trailer sets to use NOW, it is ready and is only $8. Same purchase process applies like with any other NitroModz purchase.
