We feed people spirit, soul and body; using food distribution and supplying material necessities to break down As John and Leigh Ann build relationships with Chronically homeless individuals they identify and meet the unique needs of the homeless people not yet ready to leave the streets and who refuse to stay in emergency shelters. It’s a hot one out in Syracuse today, and today’s outreach lunch is prepared with love and purpose.
We’ll be serving a delicious meatball sandwich with IMFK Taste and See Pasta Sauce, a wonderful sweet treat generously provided by Denise, our amazing cookie lady, along with a nice cold bottle of water, medical touch, and essential supplies to help care for those suffering outdoors on the streets of Syracuse.
Your support makes moments like this possible.
Today’s lunch is more than just a meal it’s an open door to conversation, connection, hope, and transformation. Sometimes something as simple as a sandwich and compassion can become the beginning of someone making the decision to come indoors and take the next step toward stability and healing.
Thank you for standing with us and helping us remind every person we meet that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

What a great day serving alongside some incredible partners and celebrating another life moving forward!
Today, we had the privilege of helping Linda get settled into her new apartment by filling her shelves and refrigerator with nutritious food generously provided through our collaborative partners at Abundant Life Church and the Reach Pantry. We were also able to help fill in the gaps with essential household items and appliances, turning an apartment into a place she can truly call home.
Linda's journey has been one of perseverance and hope. During her time at the Salvation Army Women's Shelter, she participated in our Restore Women's Outreach Program and our Hire Ground Day Labor Program, taking important steps toward stability and independence.
A special thank you to Allison and the entire team at the Salvation Army Women's Shelter for the amazing work they have done walking alongside Linda every step of the way. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment have helped make this success story possible.
This is what collaboration looks like. When organizations come together, barriers are broken, hope is restored, and lives are changed.
Together, we're making a difference. Together, we're building hope. Together, we're changing lives.
