This May, CenterState CEO joins communities across the nation in celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It is a moment to honor the traditions, leadership, innovation and cultural vibrancy that AANHPI communities bring to our region and country.

AANHPI Heritage Month is also a reminder to look honestly at the past, from exclusionary immigration laws, to anti-Asian bias, discrimination and violence still present today. Understanding this history helps us build workplaces and communities where everyone feels seen, valued and supported.

Today, AANHPI communities represent the fastest-growing ethnic groups in the country, with 20M+ people of Asian or Pacific Islander descent living in the United States, representing cultures from East, Southeast and South Asia, and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. Their contributions strengthen our economy, enrich our communities and are an integral part of our American fabric.

We invite our members, partners and neighbors to celebrate, learn and understand more about AANHPI heritage, to honor the past and help shape a more inclusive future.
