We strive to accomplish this mission by encouraging the boys to become “A” man, not “The” man and begin “A” Man’s Journey. The journey includes many different opportunities to experience and discuss authentic manhood. The power of young men!!!
"We wanted to do something great for the Building Men Program," H.W. Smith PreK-8 School 8th grader Kevin Ndagijeimana shared. "We decided to focus on feeding the homeless. Cereal is shelf stable... so we came up with a cereal drive and the idea of a domino chain to get people excited about it!"
The HW Smith Building Men Program collected more than 1,080 boxes of cereal, which they lined up throughout the school building to create a giant domino chain, before donating them to the Food Bank of Central New York. We're so proud of this effort and the ways !
