Congratulations to the PCOM School of Pharmacy faculty and students who were recognized at the recent Georgia Pharmacy Association (GPhA) Annual Convention! 🏆

Justice Sconiers (PharmD '27) was named recipient of the Student Pharmacist of the Year Award, while Dean and Chief Academic Officer Mandy Reece, PharmD, was honored as Faculty Member of the Year. Their achievements reflect their dedication to making a real difference in pharmacy in the state of Georgia.

The convention also highlighted faculty expertise, with Kimberly Barefield, PharmD, presenting "Diabetes and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Updates" for pharmacy professionals.

Throughout the weekend's events, faculty, students and PCOM Alumni had the opportunity connect with colleagues, share knowledge and help shape the future of pharmacy practice throughout Georgia.

Last week, PCOM Georgia hosted Employee Appreciation Day, bringing faculty and staff together for an afternoon of food trucks, games, music, and summer swag.
