Like a sky relieved after pouring its heaviest rain upon the earth,
please do not remain so distant and silent.

I cannot bear this silence of yours.

Smile, if only for a moment.
Speak, if only a few words.
For this quietness between us weighs heavily upon my heart.

Through the old ancestral home,
estranged sighs wander like forgotten echoes,
while the sleepless half-moon slips through the window,
casting shadows across this lonely bed.

And for your heart,
aching as though pierced by hidden thorns,
tell me once more the healing verses you taught me long ago—
the words that soothed sorrow and brought peace to troubled minds.

After all,
where in this imperfect world
has a flawless human being ever been born?

We are all travelers carrying wounds unseen,
learning, stumbling, forgiving, and growing.

So let not silence become our final language.
Let kindness speak where pride remains quiet,
