Day 2 of our 3 day juice cleanse. Nazir and Janae joined us this time, as well.

After the heavy holiday foods, we are ready to give our bodies a break.

Although this is a new year. It is not THE new year. January is in the winter season. Winter does not start the new year.

In the winter we are meant to rest, go within, reflect, plan for the actual new year, which is March 20th. The spring equinox.

Side note: That's the reason we chose to get married on the spring equinox because it signals new beginnings.

In nature the animals hibernate during this time and come out in Spring time.

This is why "new years resolutions" don't stick past February.

If you are feeling like you want to hibernate during this time. Do it! Rest, reflect, plan for your new year when the sun is warm on your skin and the birds are chirping and the flowers and leaves are blooming again.

Go within during this time so you can bloom in the spring!

This fast helps our body clear out the old energy, help us stay clear as we rest, reflect, go within, meditate and plan for iur new beginning in the spring.
