Baking PooranPoli bread with my sister! Our cousins are visiting and I thought baking this sweet bread by would be a great experience for my sister who loves to cook/bake. She was amazing at it and wanted to understand the basics behind dough making. I mean, look at that filling spiral and the beautiful rise on that loaf! 😍 Can you believe it was her first time making bread?

My very first logo is here, yay!!! 🤩 This definitely calls for a speech, so here I go.. ahem.. As far as follower count goes, this page might not look like much but I’ve made very meaningful connections over here with some of you and that means so much to me! Sometimes I get DMs from total strangers who found me through word of mouth/over IG; there is definitely a bounce in my step those days. 😊

I’d like to sincerely thanks Mr. D for my growth over the last two years. You might just see my efforts on this page but it’s Mr. D who cooks for us when I’m busy baking or painting. He does most of the wood work and comes up with stunning ideas for our projects/my reels. And most importantly, he keeps me sane. 😇 He has been pushing me to make this logo and come up with a menu since the longest time and hopefully I did a fine job. 😁

This logo embodies the spirit of this page in my opinion. There are paint accessories, few basic DIY tools and baking tools at the center of it all. I hope you love it as much as I do! 🥰

A few days before leaving, we finished the whirlpool bath installation in our backyard.✨
Our landscaper cut put a hole in our deck, fit the whirlpool bath right in front of our master bedroom. We took a few dips in the hot tub before leaving for India and it was so dreamy! 😍
I’m yet to decorate the pergola my way. I plan on putting some string lights (duh, obviously) and some plants+decor to make it a cozier space. 😊 I might even do a mural on the pergola at some point. 😋

Eggless Kalakand Cheesecake! This one's just too easy and yum to not share the recipe for. You literally have to throw ingredients together, mix them up and burn the cheesecake in the oven. You really can't mess it up🤣😋

Ingredients-240g Cream cheese, room temperature100g Greek yoghurt140ml Condensed milk30g Powdered sugar25g Milk powder40g Cornflour1/2tsp Vanilla extract3/4tsp Cardamom powder1/4tsp Baking powder120 ml Heavy whipping rreamA pinch of salt

Instructions-Take a 7×7 inch square baking pan and line it with two layers of parchment paper, let the paper lie overhang. Preheat your oven to 225CIn a mixing bowl, take the cream cheese and condensed milk and whisk on medium speed until very smoothAdd the greek yoghurt and sugar, mix until combinedSift in the cornflour, salt, milk powder, cardamom powder and baking powder and mixLastly, add the cream and vanilla. Whisk on high speed for 30 secondsPour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake the cheesecake for 45 minutes or until the top is a nice golden brown

Notes:The cheesecake might jiggle after done baking, let it cool completely to room temperature and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight before servingThe cheesecake will sink in while cooling, nothing to be alarmed about 😊

Eggless Cereal Milk Cupcakes! 🧁
I had heard about 's MILK BAR] and was so incredibly intrigued by the concept of making desserts with Cereal Milk in place of just Milk, but not sure what took me so long to try to bake one.🥛 I devoured the Cereal Milk ice cream and Birthday Cake at MILK BAR] in New York and couldn’t stop thinking about them for a sec. 🤤 I think I want to try Cereal Milk with sprinkles next, so tempting! 🤪
This cupcake is now up in my list of favorite cupcakes ever. Can't wait to bake a cereal birthday cake for someone soon. Any volunteers?🤭
Oh and, I modified the recipe to create my own eggless one and guess what? The eggless cupcake was even better than the one with egg!! Go figure 😲
