Yes, Jesus is the correct answer... but so is Isaac.

The story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22 is deeply symbolic, foreshadowing the arrival of the Messiah. "God will provide the lamb," Abraham says. No wonder Jesus declared, "Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.”

All of the details between the story of Abraham and Isaac and the life of Jesus seem intertwined, one in symbolism, one is fulfillment... except one. Abraham and Isaac journeyed to Mt. Moriah. Jesus would walk the road of suffering to Golgotha, only a few football fields away and part of the same ridge, but a different mountain still.
