November brings the start of the holiday season, the return of colder weather, and further economic uncertainty, including the continuing government shutdown. That doesn’t even address some of the personal struggles many of our neighbors are already facing.

Sumter Pride Alliance is running a food drive to benefit individuals and families in the Sumter community in this growing time of need. If you can donate, you’re not just filling plates, but also offering comfort and restoring hope to our community.

Shop a unique selection of handmade and sustainable items from another local small business. Some of my personal favorites are the incense, bath salts, and tea and spice blends, but there are so many more goodies I still need to try!
