ut a square peg in a round hole, but somehow we knew we could do this. Queen came to us with a 30's Jazz vibe to her vocals. We were now trying to put Octagon pegs into round holes, LOL. But with finesse and effort and learning how to work with each other, we started crafting songs. Then they started coming faster, but we were still looking for a drummer. After many auditions, my former singer suggested I reach out to Brian Haigh. Brian had been part of the attempt to save Steel Grit at the end. I reached out and he agreed to join. Now it was a many sided peg into a round hole, but the chemistry started to come together and we now had a rock solid Core. We decided on the name Xenith. It took about a month and a half and we found out there was at least 1 if not more bands out there with the name Xenith. After much deliberation, the addition of a 2nd guitarist in the person of Don Boles, and some delays with the Holidays, we settled on the Gipfel. Currently working on our first recording endeavor to get on the website (www.gipfelrocks.com) and the page, I am pleased to be back at it again. Yes, the name on the page is incorrect, a change request was submitted and hopefully will be updated soon. FB says it can take up to 60 days? Looking to see you at the big festivals.
