We're on summer vacation's doorstep!

Here's a reminder of the single session dismissal times for the final day of school (Wednesday, June 17):

Kindergarten 8:30am - 12:00pm (Drop-off 8:10am - 8:25am; Pick-up 12:00pm)

Elementary School 8:15am - 12:30pm

Middle School 7:55am - 12:15pm

High School 7:45am - 12:06pm

Summit High School’s production of Big Fish won two awards at Paper Mill Playhouse’s prestigious Rising Star Awards on June 9.

Summit’s talented Pit Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Alex Bo****no, received the award for Outstanding Performance by an Orchestra. Senior Ainsley Valerio was also honored with a Student Achievement Award for her invaluable contributions behind the scenes as Props Crew Head.

In addition to these wins, several members of the Big Fish company received Rising Star Award nominations for their exceptional work:

✨ Alex Bo****no and Mary-Lynn Rhodes – Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction
✨ Noah Ibrahim – Outstanding Solo Performance
✨ Skylar Grosswald-Wilson – Outstanding Performance in a Female-Identifying Leading Role

During the awards ceremony, junior Skylar Grosswald-Wilson reprised her role as Sandra Bloom and performed “I Don’t Need a Roof” in a special onstage performance celebrating the students nominated in the Female-Identifying Leading Role category.

Presented annually by Paper Mill Playhouse, the Rising Star Awards honor outstanding achievement in musical theater among high schools across New Jersey. Summit High School’s success this year highlights the strength of its performing arts program and the collaborative spirit that made Big Fish such a powerful and memorable production.
