Incorporated in the State of Texas, GAPS is a charitable organization with the mission of relieving the distressed and underprivileged poor Sudanese communities. This includes Sudanese refugees and asylees in the US as well as those in Sudan with no access to adequate means. Years of war, political instability, and corruption have sent about half of the population of Sudan below the poverty line.

Donate today to support Zeinab, a widowed mother of three who urgently need a surgery to save her liver. Zeinab used to work as an office lady at a school in Omdurman. She fled to a refugee shelter in Atbara. The surgery costs $2500 and thus far $1900 was collected.

السلام عليكم يا اصحاب الخير و العطاء
حبينا نبلغكم بالمبادرات التي ترعاها منظمة قابس في الفترة الراهنة و منها مبادرة الوقاية من الوبائيات.
أكيد كلكم متابعين الإنتشار المخيف للأمراض الوبائية في السودان عشان الوضع الصحي و البيئي المتدني بسبب الحرب؛ انتشر داء الكوليرا و حمى الضنك و الملاريا بأعداد مهولة في كل مناطق السودان المختلفة.
نناشدكم للعنده الرغبة بمساعدة المتطوعين و النازحين في مراكز الإيواء بالتبرع لتوسيع نطاق المبادرة لتشمل أكبر عدد ممكن من المراكز للحد من انتشار الوبائيات و تعزيز حملات النظافة.
