9. Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party or infringes on copyrights or trademarks;
10. Supports particular non-City services, products or political organizations/ideas, except as approved by the Director or designee;
11. Promotes events or activities that are not sponsored by the City, except as approved by the Director or designee;
12. Contains personal information such as address, birth date, medical information or Social Security number;
13. Contains political endorsements of any particular candidate for office, electioneering, or a particular stance on specific legislation;
14. Repeated violations of posting inappropriate comments, as defined above, will subject the author to being blocked from the City's Social Networking site and/or disciplinary action. There is no right of privacy on the City of Suffolk’s Social Media sites. All content is considered a public record, and will be retained as required by law. This is a moderated online discussion group and not a public forum. The public comments expressed on social networking sites do not reflect the opinions and position of the City of Suffolk or its officers and employees. Failure to comply with these Guidelines can result in action by the City to prevent the offender from posting on City of Suffolk’s Social Media sites.
