Not everyone has reliable access to healthy food when they leave the hospital or return home. That’s why we’ve brought something new to our campus in partnership with Suffolk Christian Fellowship Center: a community food locker designed to help bridge that gap.

Located outside our Emergency Department entrance, the weatherproof, refrigerated locker provides 24/7 access to fresh, nutritious food for patients being discharged and community members experiencing food insecurity.

With a simple access code provided through our hospital or partner organization, individuals can pick up food at a time that works for them, even outside traditional pantry hours.

This effort is about more than convenience. It’s about dignity, access, and supporting better health beyond our hospital walls. 🍎❤️

MRIs are in high demand. That's why we're upgrading the MRI scanner at Sentara BelleHarbour with $1.3 million in next-generation technology.

What does that mean for you? A broader range of available scans, sharper images, faster scans, a wider bore to ease claustrophobia, and more appointment availability.
