2024 Summer Classics Film Calendar

All films in the series show Monday evenings at 7:00 pm (when hosts start their introductions) and a Tuesday matinee at 1:00 pm. Guest hosts will only be present at the Monday night presentations. Tickets go on sale about 45 mins before scheduled time.

SEATING: All tickets are for general admission, specific seats are not reserved. Naro Ticket Book coupons are valid for all films, but do not guarantee you a seat. Because of the popularity of these screenings – often sell-outs – we offer “guaranteed seating” in two ways: 1) you can purchase your ticket online* starting June 26th, or you can exchange a Naro Ticket Book coupon in person at our box office  starting on the Friday prior to the show through late Monday afternoon, subject to availability

I need your help with old photos for a project featuring places long gone in Suffolk. I have found a few online and old news clippings, but would love to find some color photos or at least photos of good quality and clarity. Please drop them here or direct message me if you can help. Inside photos, outside, etc. anything is appreciated. I’d love to see what everyone can dig up or find from their old albums to share! Thanks!

Right now, I am looking for these photos, specifically, from the 1970-1990 timeframe:

- Suffolk Plaza Cinema
- Montgomery Ward (Suffolk Plaza location)
- Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center in general
- Planter’s Peanuts building (in 1970)
- Bunny’s Family Restaurant (off Wilroy)
- Red Top Gas Station (building and any inside photos)
- Woolworth’s (North Main Street) (hoping for a photo of the lunch counter, too)
- Russell & Holmes (North Main Street)
- WLPM (color photos inside/outside)
- Suffolk Raceway (clear as possible and good signage)
- JP Boone (TV and Electronics store)
