Hucker Farms

We have been wide open with life, work, sports and farming lately and hadn’t posted much. As we prepared our ground for this year’s planting and harvest, we wanted to highlight our cover crop that builds our soil each and every year. This year we had rye, crimson clover, hairy vetch, Austrian winter peas and sorghum. We are slowly turning this sandy land that was row crop farmed year over year back into a living ecosystem full of life. More reels coming later with available veggies and fresh honey we are harvesting this weekend!
