The Crafted Keg

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be closing the bar at the end of February.

We started The Crafted Keg with the dream of bringing Craft beer to Stuart in a way it hadn’t seen as of yet. Thinking global, drinking local.

Since then, we have had the pleasure of serving our beautiful community and making history in the process, building a green house style keg room, ending the ban on growlers, renovating a fire truck to take the party mobile, etc. We’ve worked with wonderful organizations like Operation 300 and other local charities. We’ve shut down Colorado Ave. for RocktoberFest Block parties and St. Paddy’s Day. Most importantly, we’ve created a community of vendors, staff and patrons who we feel so grateful for. Who came and played trivia, sang their hearts out at karaoke, hung out on the patio, danced to live music, took home growlers and reminded us daily why we opened our doors in the first place.

While our hearts ache with the closing of this chapter, we want to say thank you to anyone and everyone who stepped into the bar, tried one for 64 brews on tap and shared the last 9 years with us. While we haven’t yet taken the time to plan our next step, we do know you haven’t seen the last of us and encourage our patrons to follow our mobile business which will continue to provide event catering services.

Come blow it out with us this Saturday starting at 5 pm as we cheers to the future of The Crafted Keg.
