We meet several times a month to conduct business and train in firefighting and medical skills. All of our members are minimally trained in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness. We regularly conduct training drills where we train in various firefighting and medical skills. All of our members are interested in persuing various areas of the Fire Rescue field. This program is a career oriented field, therefore we guide our youth in preparing them for the career of Fire Rescue.

MCFR Fire Cadets Post 836 would like to congratulate Captain Paul Jones on his selfless service, to Martin County Fire Rescue the past 30 years. The impact you have made to the community does not go unnoticed. You have been a guiding light to many and your wisdom speaks volumes.
Captain Jones two sons, Marlin and Manoa, are actively apart of Post 836. Their very own words; “ I want to follow in dads footsteps”
