This is cool. The most reflective fish eye I’ve seen is the swordfish. Here’s an interesting fact. The reflection of light in a fish’s eye, which creates a glowing effect, is called eyeshine. This phenomenon is caused by a specialized, reflective layer behind the retina known as the tapetum lucidum (or sometimes a retinal tapetum), which acts as a mirror to reflect light back through the retina to improve vision in low-light conditions.
