🔥MCFR FIREFIGHTERS BATTLING 120-ACRE, REKINDLED BRUSH FIRE IN INDIANTOWN🔥
Martin county Fire Rescue firefighters are battling a 120-acre brush fire near the 2600th Block of Southwest Warfield Boulevard in Indiantown.
Initial reports indicate that the fire rekindled from yesterday’s 40-acre fire. The winds shifted multiple times today, and the fire is in thick brush. These conditions most likely contributed to such a rapid spread.
The Florida Forest Service (FFS) and Martin County Sheriff’s Office are also on scene helping contain the fire.
MCFR and FFS are currently working to protect two structures from flames. There is no other threat to the public at this time. Residents in the area can expect smoky conditions.
