Crary Buchanan is thrilled to present the first of our two new attorneys. Welcome, Max Kotelevets!

Maxim (“Max”) Kotelevets is a seasoned attorney specializing in estate planning, wealth preservation, probate and trust administration. Max brings more than 17 years of experience, combining deep knowledge of complex planning strategies with a background in litigation. Max’s practice focuses on helping clients protect their legacy and secure their family’s financial future.

His litigation background enhances his counsel, allowing him to deliver comprehensive estate planning and asset protection strategies. He is highly skilled in taxable estate planning and advanced wealth preservation, including structuring corporate entities for clients seeking privacy, optimal asset protection, and strategic tax advantages. His expertise also spans probate, trust administration, business succession planning, and transactional matters.

Max is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. Max earned his law degree from New York Law School. Early in his career, he played a pivotal role in exposing predatory mortgage practices as part of a litigation team that filed multiple class-action lawsuits against twelve of the world’s largest banks. This experience in complex commercial litigation informs his strategic approach to business planning. Max is an active member of the Palm City Rotary Club. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and reading fantasy and science fiction. He is also a proud supporter of his daughter, Olivia, a nationally recognized pairs figure skater.
