I took this picture standing on my dock this evening. For a minute I just stopped.

No phone calls.

No emails.

No noise.

And I thought about how hard I worked to get here. Not the house. Not the dock. The stillness. The ability to stop and actually enjoy what I built.

Then I thought about how many people are sitting in front of a screen right now telling themselves they are busy while their biggest goals collect dust.

The sun doesn't negotiate. It sets on the productive and the stagnant alike.
The difference is what you built before it went down.

Most advisors I talk to have never had that moment of stillness. They are running on a hamster wheel that never stops because they never built a business that works without them running it.

That is not a time problem. That is a strategy and ex*****on problem.

If you are a financial advisor who is tired of watching other people grow while you stay flat, I want to talk to you. The gap between where you are and where you want to be is not talent.
It never was.
