Career Connect Martin

Heyyyy, check this out!!!! Christian is a young man that was referred to Career Connect from our very own Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. He successfully completed their electrical apprenticeship program and was seeking out a career opportunity in the electrical field where he could grow. With a few coaching sessions, review of his DISC profile and discussion of his skills, he was matched with one of our Career Connect employers and supporters, Bismark Electric. Bill's staff took him and trained him with some great hands on skills. Bill's report "Christian is a rockstar". We are happy to report he was hired on full time with Bismark. We look forward to continuing to watch him grow in this career.

CareerConnect Martin will host quarterly N.E.W. (Neighborhood Employment Workshops) Day events across Martin County in 2026 and invites your organization to support this initiative. N.E.W. Day is a free, 3-hour interactive workshop that helps job seekers build essential skills and better understand how to enter the local workforce, leaving them more prepared to take the next steps toward success—and strengthen our overall economy.
