WHAT IS TITLE INSURANCE?

The most basic and common question we get.

The short answer is it tells you that at the end of your closing, you really do own the property you paid for. And if something did go wrong and a third party's interest remains attached to the property - for example, an unpaid judgment, or heir of a prior deceased owner, or a code enforcement lien - it covers you against those claims.
