Oishi Sushi Schaumburg IL
Not your run of the mill sushi stop. Though it is all you can eat it is more consistent and better quality than places like Wok n Fire. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

As this summer is winding down, we wanted to take the time to reflect back on all the breweries/ beer gardens we were able to visit this summer 🍻🍻

Hideaway Brew Garden: Located just about 10 minutes from our house and nestled away off of Route 59. They offer many domestic options, yard games, live music and simple snacks. One of our favorite hang out places this summer plus they are dog friendly!
Mikerphone Brewing: Not for your average beer drinker. Lots of barrel aged and darker beers (if you are into that kind of thing).
Lakefront Brewery: We went here on a Saturday and it was packed; practically standing room only. One of my favorites was the New Grist Gose and would definitely go back for the brewery tour they offer!
Buffalo Creek Brewing: We reviewed this one a couple of months ago. We loved the atmosphere but found the beer to just be okay. There wasn’t one beer that we definitely want to go back for.
Riverlands Brewing Company: Cody really enjoyed the STC’s ESB and the Peace and Quiet Porter. They had a really good selection of beers and good atmosphere.
Ike & Oak Brewing: I had one of the best beers of the summer here; Greenhorn (sour gose). It tasted like a Key Lime Pie! It was probably my favorite beer I have tried this year! This place has great food and beers. Definitely will be going back there soon.
Oswego Brewing Co.: We have been here a couple of times with friends and family. Cody has yet to find an Oktoberfest better than the one they have here.
Scorched Earth Brewing Co: Nice outside area where they grow their own hops. I tried the We Got 5 on it and it was a Sherbet Milkshake IPA that was DELICIOUS!
Pollyanna Brewing Company: This is the most recent brewery we went to and had some delicious beer. Cody’s favorite was the On the Bash (Scotch Ale) and I tried Keep it Easy (Coconut Cream Ale) and Pepinada (Witbier with Lime, Cucumber & Pequin Chile).

Favorites: Ike & Oak, Pollyanna
Least Favorite: Buffalo Creek
