The Stoneham Police Department would like to remind residents to take a few simple steps to help prevent vehicle break-ins and thefts:

✅ Lock your vehicle, even when parked at home
✅ Remove valuables from plain sight
✅ Take your keys and key fobs with you
✅ Close all windows and sunroofs
✅ Never leave fi****ms unattended in a vehicle

Most vehicle break-ins are crimes of opportunity. A locked vehicle with no valuables visible is far less likely to be targeted.

Please take a moment today to check your vehicle and encourage your family members to do the same.
