We Lost!
What an awesome Turkey Bowl weekend @ Delta Speedway. The racing was spectacular, and we came up short. Caden had secured the pole positions in both non-wing and super 600. He led the Super race for 38 laps, till he jumped the cushion, and tapped the wall, giving the race to Jett Yantis, who drove a great race. In non-wing, he led for 39 laps when Jett Barnes got by to steal the win, well deserved. We also ran the A class and got second also. 3 seconds is a good night, and you can't win them all! A big shout out to Bob and Tiffany Panella, and all the Delta Speedway crew for an outstanding race track and fun weekend of racing! They even had a great Taco feed in the pits after the races. One of the best races in recent memory!

Big weekend of racing @ Delta Speedway! for the annual Turkey Bowl, Friday and Saturday nights! Delta is at the fairgrounds in Stockton
If you have never been to Delta, you are missing some of the the best racing on the west coast! Micro Sprints are the training ground for tomorrows future sprint car stars, starting with the Jr sprints, ages 5-11 yrs old, restricted class, 10-14, Non wing, and Super 600, are the premier classes. The close side by side of these cars on the tight 1/7th oval is spectacular with the action so close to the grandstands, some of the best spectator experiences you can have! I won the Turkey bowl twice in the 90's and they were some of my best memories. Grandstands are just $10, And pit passes only $25
We will be competing in the non-wing and super classes, for $2500 to win in each class both nites. $10k up for grabs. Come on out and have some fun, and enjoy some great Royce's BBQ at the snack bar.

Caden Sarale won 3 out of the last 4 races of the CA Summer Shootout, and the overall championship in the non-wing class winning 2 of the 4 races. He also won 1 out of 4 in the Super 600 class. Speedweek has the best (Bear) trophies!
