Today is yoga day and WOD day depending on class time, look at my story for those times.
has seen the value in yoga and I know if you try it you will too.
My yoga class isn’t about spirituality, it is focused on attaining the flexibility needed to do proper lifting from on things like squats and deadlifts.
My yoga routine will also help to alleviate soreness in your muscles and your joints more than static stretches will.
It’s also a great way to practice the deep breath that you should be utilizing during your normal workouts.
Core strength, yoga will help you build more core strength than doing a bunch of crunches will. Abdominal muscles are not primarily utilized for movement, but they are there to stabilize movements.
Some people think yoga is too easy, they aren’t putting enough effort in n to the poses. Some people think it’s too hard, they aren’t breathing enough or doing it with enough regularity. You need to incorporate some yoga or active stretches at least twice a week.
