I tend to get a lot of the “I have leather so an interior deep clean shouldn’t be too bad” or “just a wipedown”, but in reality this is never the case. A lot of folks mistake their shiny looking leather for being clean, but really all that “shininess” is a build up of oil, grime, dirt, etc.. in this video I show my process of deep cleaning & conditioning leather. First off I use steam and a detail brush to agitate the leather pores a bit and bring out any oil & dirt trapped inside. I then use my leather cleaner & steamer for some foaming action in order to really deep clean inside of the pores, leaving a clean look with that natural matte finish. Since leather is technically skin & skin needs to be moisturized after exfoliating, I top it off with leather conditioner to refreshen the leather and prevent it from cracking, fading, & etc.. So remember, shiny leather IS dirty leather 👍🏻
